First, meet the team at the command center--Billy Blazes fans will be thrilled to work with such a talented bunch. Then, accompanied by decent graphics and a suspense-building musical soundtrack, set out to rescue families from different tropical storm disasters. In order to rescue folks, you need to know the best ways to get around the storms and where it's safe to take hurricane victims once they're out of immediate danger. As you successfully accomplish each mission (which happens with careful planning, teamwork, and all-around bravery), you receive printable Rescue Heroes honor badges and personalized certificates. You can also take a breather from the exhausting work of heroism and head to the design center, where you can create your own printable rescue gear.

Rescue Heroes: Hurricane Havoc requires surprisingly simple mouse skills for an action game. Your team is around to narrate so, while reading is helpful, it's not absolutely necessary. Any kindergartner who likes helping those in need (or has a secret longing to become a superhero) is sure to have a blast with this game. --Jill Lightner
