I am very surprised at all the negative reviews for this game. I bought this game several years ago and played it a little. I have recently become more interested in mythology than ever before and have had some spare time to play games so I got it back out. It runs perfectly on my system not to mention I have not had one problem playing it online other than getting my rear end whooped every time. The story lines are fun and as far as a real time strategy game it is up their with the best. I am no expert but I have played Command and Conquer Generals and Warcraft III and this game is just as good if not better than those... and it has a mythological theme with all of the gods, heroes and beasts you could ask for. If you are a mythology fan and a strategy game fan you will like this gameCustomer Review: All complaints are about the seller, not the game - AWESOME GAME!

The seller on Amazon is ripping everyone off, and the reviews aren't correct...
This game is amazing. It's by far the best of all of the Ages series. I wish they would make an AOM II.
I am in college... I still play it for hours on end with my buddies on Local Area Network... that's right I'm a super nerd.
I highly recommend this game. Try the jewel case version for $9.99 first. Titans expansion isn't that different, so for $20+ more it's probably not work it.

Bought this game new and everything seemed to be going fine, until I tried to get online and play with friends (the whole reason I bought the game), only to get the message that my CD key could not be validated.
All their technical support said was:
Unfortunately, we no longer have keys available for replacement in this game. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
How disappointing, and to make it worse they just simply ignored all further inquiries including how I might get a refund. Stay a way from this game! And I'd suggest you consider avoiding ever buying anything from this publisher too--they seem to have no problem with selling you something that doesn't work and leaving you out to dry.

I usually HATE video games, but when I found Age of Mithology...its out of this world!! This game keep your attention all the time and if you like the mithology, with this game you are going to refine your knowlwdge.
