Video Game Reviews of Equestrian ChallengeCustomer Review: Equestrian Challenge Summary: 5 StarsI bought this game for my granddaughters for Christmas and their familly can't stop playing it. I haven't had a chance to try it but am looking forward to it. Looks like a lot of fun.
Customer Review: The Best game I have ever played! Summary: 5 StarsOne of the best eventing games I have ever played! Good graphics, realistic courses mocking from all CCI 4* events. Just an amazing game. If you are the kind of person that beats a game, then never plays it again, I wouldnt suggest this though. I beat it within 2 hours of purchasing it on the PS2.
Customer Review: One of the best! Summary: 5 StarsOver the past 2 years, I've been obsessed with playing horse PC games. Unfortunately a lot of the horse games out there that I've tried are incredibly ridiculous and not very much fun. Equestrian Challenge, however, is definitely the best out there so far that I've tried. It's challenging, fun, user friendly and rewarding. I recommend this to any horse crazy person out there!
Customer Review: Great game. Realistic. Summary: 5 StarsI purchased this item for myself and for my niece as a Christmas gift. I started playing it before Christmas and got hooked right away. I love that you can creat your own horse. Just as in real life, you have to groom, feed and train your horse in order to get better at the shows. I can creat several horses but only work with one for now. I am 45 years old. My niece is 14 and we both love the game.
Customer Review: Brought Out The Pony Club Girl In Me Summary: 5 StarsI'm having lots of fun with this game. The horses are given several characteristics such as jumping, speed and trust. After each training session or competition, you are given points to apply to each category. So you'll notice the changes in your horse as it gains stamina or agility. It's like watching the horse learn. Creating the horses is fun too. I created a big black warmblood mare but I have a soft spot for my tiny gray thoroughbred. And, just as in real life, size matters too. The thoroughbred is more challenged with some of the higher jumps but is more nimble than the big warmblood.
The only complaints I really have about Equestrian Challenge is that the dressage events are done by selecting your left, right and up and down arrows on your keyboard to a corresponding pattern on the screen. Sometimes I'm too busy watching the horse going through the excercise to catch the next arrow to key on time. Also, you can only have one horse in a paddock at a time. It would be great to watch them frolicking about or lazily chomping grass together.
