If you like games such as Galactic Civilizations 2, Space Empires V, and Sword of the Stars then you must add Lost Empire to your collection! You will love this game! There are alot of things in this game that make it stand on its own. Leaders for example is an awesome idea, how they are implemented. They age and die after time then a new one will be randomly created at some time. The story mode in this game is all non-scripted and the galaxy is randomly generated no matter if you do story mode or custom game. So you can replay the story mode over and over. If you choose so, you can have a 5000 star random galaxy, kid you not! The AI is solid and plays the game well, the interface is easy to get around even when you have a large empire. One of the most addicting strategy games I have ever player. At last, looks like another space strategy classic is born.
Description of Lost Empire: Immortal
Long ago, the immortal Aeons presented the fledging races with the technology to travel the stars. Vast fleets colonized the cosmos until a great cataclysm occurred. Now the Aeons' technology lie beyond reach. Devoid of the means to navigate the stars, the empires of the six major races began to look inwards as communication between worlds was lost. But the long forgotten desire for exploration and conquest calls out once again. For it would only be a matter of time before each race would recover the knowledge to rebuild their fleets, reawaken their desire to explore, rekindle their need to expand, and return to warring ways. As the six galactic empires make ready for the struggle ahead, all manner of citizens are rallied to the cause. Scouting expeditions leave the safety of their stellar berths seeking out potential systems ripe for colonization. Close behind terra-forming ships prepare planets for swelling populations. The Age of Immortals has descended upon the fledging empires. Will you dominate or be destroyed?Multiplayer action - Invite up to 10 players to play in any one game.
