Customer Review: THIS GAME CHANGED MY LIFE

I'VE NEVER WRITTEN (sorry caps lock on)a review before, but i feel so strongly about poker academy i just had to say something. I had never played this TEXAS HOLD-EM before but was fascinated by the games on t.v.(hold-em games). I would watch the same tournement over and over: it wasn't the cards that fascinated me it was the players. But it was the human interaction that was the hook for me. Some actor summed it up: he said "It's the best reality television there is". Slowly i started to understand the game too. So i got myself a comuter game (not this one), won the world championships over and over. Am i that good? I needed another challenge, bought POKER ACADEMY, played the bots(robots), got confident and then came one of the best things to have happened to me, ever. The game allowed me to play on line against other people from around the world for PLAY MONEY. So me, a compulsive gambler, could play poker, without risk to my pocket. The most amazing thing 4 me is the on-line chat (you don't have to). Believe me, there's a diversified bunch of people, and they're all there from all over - Canada, U.S.A., Australia, Japan, all over Europe - all playing little old me in Cornwall, England. Hey, if you read this and buy the game and come across me on the table say Hi. This excellent software is appropriate for all skill levels. The support is excellent and goes out of their way to listen, solve problems, satisfy their customers, and continuously improve the product.
If your already a poker legend in your own mind... maybe pass.. maybe?
Forums and and Live Online Games (rankings kept and upper level games not revealed until earned) make this Software that much more Better!

...because the more people will use it and practice with its simulator or playing online against the other Poker Academy owners, the stronger they all will become, and the more difficult it will be for me to catch money on real money tables !
So please, don't buy it, and if you do, don't use it !
And if you use it despite everything, please never talk about it to other players ! This software is too effective to be known by everybody !
So now, please, close your browser window, clear your browser's history and forget all what you learnt here.

PS: This is probably why Poker Pete wrote a so unfair and completely wrong review (the support is excellent !) But Pete is clever, and he understood that each new buyer of this product will become a competitor difficult to beat... So believe him and don't buy it !

The best hold'em training software on the market, period. If you are serious about improving your game, this product is a must have. I have been using it for 6 months, and my game has improved dramatically as a result. The analysis tools, competitive online play, and ability to practice with world class artificial intelligence, are only a few of the tools you'll enjoy when you use this program. This is the finest poker training software I've used! I've tried everything out there either by buying or trying friends copies and have no problem in saying this blows them all away! The play with bots, the statistics, hand history, and all the tools to tweak your game. Plus the online play is the closest to real money play out there. Great people online & the support staff at P.A. is amazing. They constantly listen to feedback from customers and implement changes to truly make it what the customers are after.
