I LOVE THIS GAME. SO DOES MY 6 YEAR OLD SON. IT HAS A KIDS MODE WHERE THERE IS UNLIMITED MONEY SO HE NEVER HAS TO WORRY ABOUT RUNNING OUT. HE LOVES THE DINOSAURS. THIS GAME IS VERY FUN. I ALSO BOUGHT TRAIN TYCOON AND MALL TYCOON, BOTH OF THOSE WERE A DISAPOINTMENT. MICROSOFT SHOULD HAVE MADE THEM LIKE ZOO TYCOON. WHEN I PURCHASED THIS GAME IT WAS $20. NOW IT HAS CAME DOWN TO $10, WHICH IS A GREAT DEAL. I PURCHASED ONE FOR MY 7 YEAR OLD NEPHEW FOR CHRISTMAS. THIS IS A GAME THAT KIDS AND ADULTS WILL ENJOY.Customer Review: Zoo Tycoon review

Although we have Zoo Tycoon 2 as well, my kids still play the original quite often. They are 10 and 8, they really like making their own zoos and taking care of the animals. They've learned a lot about the various animals, their environments, and what they need. They like how they can make mermaids from the mermaid statue, something they miss with Zoo Tycoon 2. They like the cheats in Zoo Tycoon- The Complete Collection, such as being able to change the color of the guests' outfits.
This would make a great stocking stuffer for the young and young at heart who enjoy computer games.

I bought this for my grandchildren. They are 8 years old and younger. I showed them the basics and they continued on without constant supervision. They find it entertaining and challenging. The game is well worth the price.Customer Review: daughter is extremely happy with this game

Since receiving this software game in August, my daughter has been playing it nonstop. I would like her to get outside while it's summer, but she can't get enough of the game! I would reccommend this game for youngsters, it was easy to load, and self explanatory that a parent was not needed. My daughter is 12 years old.
