Video Game Reviews of Train SimulatorCustomer Review: Superb Experience - Gotta love Trains Summary: 5 StarsI totally agree with the Customer from Idaho and others - it really gives you a real life experience, and can be an "addictive" experience I run it on Windows 2000 and have no problems of downloading and crashing. I hesitate to say but have the impression Windows XP doesn't have enough "steam" for it. Also you need a good graphics/video card. My real joy is driving the steam trains - Deisels don't have the same degree of difficulty - !!!! Ever slid back down a steep grade or gone nowhere with a Deisel.
Customer Review: Train Sim. Summary: 5 StarsI really enjoyed this game. When i first bought it i had a little problem installing it but that was on behalf of my computer. The game is very realistic, it clears your mind, and helps relax you. There are some challenging parts but what game is fun when you can beat it in the first hour you play it. I gave this game 5 stars because i really like the softwear Microsoft makes. So if anyone is interested in Trains then this is one of the best games on the market money can buy, and not to mention this game is cheap.
Customer Review: Microsoft Train Simulator Summary: 4 StarsI don't know; or can answer for anyone else but I love Train Simulator form Microsoft. The only problem is it works great with Windows upto and including ME; problem is when will there be and up dated version for our WINDOWS "XP" and including with it all of the add ons for WINDOWS "XP"; MS Train Simulator.
Customer Review: Microsoft Train Simulator Summary: 1 StarsGreat concept - wonderful game - but.... the game crashes everytime you play and takes forever to download - so where are the brilliant IT guys that created it. And guess what, when you call for assistance, they have absolutely no concept of how to fix the problem. This game has so much potential too bad it doesn't work. How about recreating the game ... and, oh, let's see, can you make it work this time, so it doesn't crash your system.
Customer Review: Chuga Chuga Klunk Summary: 1 StarsInstallation problems were not too bad, but it appears that Microsoft's remedy for its created monumental boredom is to arrange periodic system crashes to wake you up. After several of these experiences I uninstalled this fiasco and added it to the other accumulated trash in my waste basket.
