The software presents a realistic feeling of driving a train. The secenery is good. Train options are somewhat limited although the entire range of trains(Electric,Diesel and Steam) are available. Tutorials and training guides are excellent. This is a good starter software and in discussing other software available, is preferred.Customer Review: Train Game

If you or anyone you know is a fan of trains-either watching them, photographing them, video taping them or riding on them, then this video simulator is for you. You can either watch the train that you are controlling from the sidelines or be in the cab of the train handling the controls of it. There are several different trains in this simulation along with several different weathers conditions to work with. This simulator is fantastic.Customer Review: Drive a Train?

This is a quite realistic video game though some activities lack imagination and interest. Overall the scenery is good but the locale is quite limited. all of the activities are concentrated in western Montana and on one 200-mile section of BNSF track. Becomes rather borrrring after a while. Fortunately, add-ons are available elsewhere, which provide a broader railroad gaming experience.Customer Review: Trainsim

I am happy with this game. The scenry looks real and so are the trains. I do wish the game had more than 6 trains...
