Customer Review: Still a great game.

Way back when this game first came out it was incredibly fun. It had everything from a nice selection of weapons, squad mates who would run (or fly) around with you and chat, huge landscapes, giant bugs and what are still the most cool looking jet packs to date.
Outwars was truly a great experience back then and even today ranks up there among the top games ever made in my book. It wasn't well known but it's still a true gem. It may not have the most amazing graphics but it looks decent (I actually miss the early 3D games such as this). The single player missions are a blast and the multi-player is great (the voice taunts are quite memorable too), there are people who still play today, though their numbers have significantly dwindled.
Outwars set the path for games like Starsiege: Tribes, which was one of the best & most unique online games out there. If you appreciate good gameplay and don't mind giving an older game a chance, then pick up Outwars and enjoy the fun.
