Video Game Reviews of Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for WindowsCustomer Review: 360 wireless controller Summary: 4 Starsok I bought the controller to play rainbow six vegas but it doesn't work with the game. but it does work with Halo 2 and it makes everything much easier I would recomended. but sometiimes when I'm going to turn it on it doesn't want to connect and I have to put the computer to sleep or log off or restart it for it to work. other than that it a great controller. (long range) i mean long. (my PC is in one room but I play with the controller in another room. I have a 25' cable running from the pc to a 42" HDTV. in the living room. (haven't lost connection yet)

Customer Review: Deadzone Issues, poor driver support in Windows with Wireless Receiver Summary: 1 StarsI bought this controller along with the Wireless Receiver for using in Windows Vista. It's horrible, and unusable in 80% of my games because of major sensitivity issues with the Dead Zone on the analog sticks. There is no Dead Zone calibration settings built into the Microsoft drivers, so unless the game has support for it, you will be randomly flying off to the left or the right and it's nearly impossible to maintain control. XBCD does not support the wireless controllers at this point, so now this thing is getting thrown into the closet with the rest of my junk. This controller shouldn't even be allowed to be sold as an alternative for a Gamepad for Windows because it simply doesn't work as intended.
Also, the USB receiver pulls too much power from my mother board when it boots, so that all of my other peripherals plugged into USB are dead when the computer boots up. I have to start my computer with the receiver unplugged, so my mouse and keyboard will work, and then I have to plug the receiver in. I've heard this can be avoided by using a powered USB hub, but frankly I don't want to sink any more money into this debacle, nor should I have to in the first place. This entire concept is a good idea gone horribly wrong, unless Microshaft would get their act together and actually support what I paid for. How can they get away with this?
Grade = F
Repeat the 5th Grade.
However, I'm sure it would work fine on an Xbox360.
Customer Review: xbox 360 wireless controller for Windows Summary: 5 StarsThis product is a very nice addition to any pc entertainment system. Especially for those who love to play games on their computer but don't like using the keyboard. Now for my situation i actually prefer a keyboard but i broke my collar bone so i was no longer able to play with the keyboard. A controller was the most obvious idea. But why this controller you ask? Well its simple, out of any controller thats on the market for pc today this is definently the most comfortable. The only downside is its compatability with games. There are easy fixes such as software on the market today to fix this problem though such a pinnacle. These are great controllers, get one becuase you won't regret it.
