I have been playing Mechwarrior and Mech Commander games for 5 years now. This game literly tore apart all the other Mech games. If you have a 700mhz computer then this is a great game. Any lower and the game lags and jumps. Plus, if you keep the graphic settings all on then the game does some serious lagging. That is the only bad part I can find. Overall it is the best game I have played (and thats a lot of games). I have read many reviews were everyone hates low Drop Weight. I have no Problem with low Drop Weight. 450tons = 6 Timber Wolves (Madcats), now who has a problem with 6 Timber Wolves? The average DW limit is 320tons. Any expirienced person knows that 320 is more than enough. I use a mix of usually 1-2 Light Mechs, 1 Medium Mech, 3 Heavy Mechs. It is an able combination and makes drop weight problems low. Also the Slavage Craft helps with inmission reinforcements, there by making a low drop weight a low problem.
Slavage is pleniful thanks to the Slavage Craft. See Enemy Mech, Want Enemy Mech, Take Enemy Mech, Use Enemy-Now-Yours Mech to blow up enemy base. That is how you use the Salvage Craft.
The Solo Campain does go by sorta fast though. I was at the last Mission before I knew it.
It can be jumpy because of the Graphics, then again a small problem easily overlooked by the games play, control, feel, new options and fun. For any New or Veteran Commander, I highly reccomend this game.

This game is well worth the money you'll shell out for it. But don't buy it thinking it's the best game ever, cause it isn't. I has bugs and the required memory your video card needs to have is pretty high. Also I was way disappointed at how short this game was. It took me no time to finish it and I was left watching some (cruddy) ending, thinking good grief microsoft once again has ripped me off with there short games.Customer Review: Didn't even work correctly

I would say I would have possibly enjoyed this video game but the version that I received was defective. I tried to get customer service from microsoft and that was problematic. Nothing on their website was useful and then I was forced to either pay money for support or call long-distance just to receive support with the warranty. Then after I spent time getting an account setup with them they said that there had been a number of defective cd's shipped. Then he said I could either return it or they could send me a copy in 3 plus weeks. Trust me, why buy this game if it may not even work correctly!Customer Review: MICROSOFT HAS DONE IT AGAIN

AFTER WHAT MICROSOFT DID WITH MECHWARRIOR ON MECHWARRIOR 4:VENGENCE I COULD`NT WAIT TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WITH MECHCOMMANDER. WELL THEY DID IT AGAIN. WHILE I DONT CARE MUCH FOR 3-D RTS GAMES UNLESS YOUR TALKING GROUND CONTROL THIS GAME REALLY DELIVERS. THE GRAPHICS REALLY ROCK AND THE GAMEPLAY IS INCREDIBLY FUN. IT IS IMPROVED OVER THE FIRST MECHCOMMANDER IN EVERY WAY. IT IS GREAT HOW THERE IS NO FOG OF WAR ON THE MAP. THE MECHLAB IS A BLAST AND THE WEAPONS ARE LIKE THOSE FOUND IN MECHWARRIOR VENGENCE. YOUR MECHS CAN BLAST THROUGH WALLS,RUN OVER FENCES AND KNOCK OVER TREES. THE MISSION EDITOR IS REALLY COOL AND EASY TO USE. ONE OF THE BEST PARTS OF THIS GAME IS YOU CAN STEAL ENEMY MECHS AND SALVAGE THEM AND EVEN SELL THEM. THE POINT IS I HAVENT HAD THIS MUCH FUN WITH A STRATEGY GAME SINCE RED ALERT 2. THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL AJUSTMENTS MAKE THIS GAME SUITABLE FOR KIDS AND SERIOUS GAMERS. WELL SEE YA LATER I`VE GOT TO GO PLAY A GAME OF MECHCOMMANDER 2 RIGHT NOW.
