Summary: 4 Stars
Very solid game steeped in history. I have been playing the age of empires franchies for about 10 years now. The graphics continue to improve and the range options create a wonderful blind of choices in leading your choice of civilization. However, I still feel the AI balance is tilted too far to the computer advantage. this is why I have marked the game down. In skimrmish mode, the AI continues to gang up and execute an all out assualt on your civilization taking away from some of the fun.
with that said, this still a very solid and fun game
