You would think that a company would take into consideration the thoughts of its players. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the designers of the Star Wars Galaxies team (SOE= Sony Online Entertainment). They will charge you for expansions and then turn around and remove 80% of the professions that you have spent months developing. They do this with NO warning and will not refund money. They do not support the needs and desires of the playing customers. If there were ever an example needed of what not to do with your online customers, SOE could write the book.Customer Review: Trials of Obi Wan! Dont get it or the expansion.!

The new expansion for SWG will be Trials of Obi Wan. Yet another attempt by the development teams, of SOE and LA, to destroy continuity for the sake of selling something else. Paying to play SWG is paying to play in a commercial.
I beseach any and every person to boycott this game until the developers start listening to their player base.]

This game rocks! The fee is completley worthwile. In the beggining, do not be discouraged, just do the best you can, and you can become what you want to. Started out near launch, On tatooine. Rose rather quickly through Marksman, and got into a guild. No matter what everyone says, I stll LOVE this game. Let me rap up my ideas about the game.
I had a friend who had this game, who made me want to get it. There was a few things bad about that. PROBLEM #1: I would have to pay $15 a month, but this wasn't super bad. PROBLEM #2: My computer wasn't upgraded enough to play the game, so I had to buy a new computer. PROBLEM #3: I didn't have $900 for a new computer. So to everyone who complains about the $15 a month, you have nothing to complain about. To wrap it up, I got the computer, I got in $900 of debt, yada yada yada.
I started playing April 17th, 2005. I was really happy with the game until the dreaded day. April 28th, 2005. THE COMBAT UPGRADE. I really started not to like the game after that. I was only level 3 when the CU hit. So I couldn't wear my armor or use my weapons. It was bad. So, I started out, made a lot of friends. The rest just goes on until I started group hunting. Then my level skyrocketed! I am now a level 80, the highest level!
