This is a great really great game. We can both play it and we are 6 years apart. We both love it, too! We like the Power-ups.The unlockable players and staduims are good. The 3D is a big improvement and so are the multiple angles. It looks a little like a movie. The Backyard Kids are improved and so are the player skills. They spoofed on the cover. A-Rod doesnt look a thing like he does on the cover. Also, making players isn't as good because they only give 20 skill points in single games and 15 in seasons. This is the first Backyard Baseball game I have played, and I think it is cool!!! The grapics are all 3-D, which makes it really fun. There are some really fun and creative parks you can play in, and you even get to play with some of the most popular MLB players as kids. There is so much you can do on this game. You can even play a 18 or 32 game season and there is a world series at the end of it. You can also create your own players, which is really fun. I think this game is definetly worth the money. And if you think this is just a boy's game, your wrong. Im a girl and this game is cool!!!Customer Review: Backyard Baseball 2005 is Awesome

This is a really great game. The things that make it a great game are:
* It has extremely fun power ups
* You can save the season play and have a 32 game career
* It has awesome graphics (watch for the cow being lifted into the flying saucer.
The things that need improvement are:
* I had trouble saving a coach at first because I didn't have priviledges to create a folder outside of My Documents. They should fix that.
* That's all until version 2006!

The 3-d graphics although an improvement, are hardly worth the effort. The gameplay is hard and frustrating, the option to save is gone and so you have to finish the 2 hour marathon in one sitting, the characters are bland and "robotic" as one fellow reviewer had the good sense to say. Backyard Baseball 2005 is a far worse than the prevous years.
