Video Game Reviews of Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle CreekCustomer Review: newer format and great game Summary: 5 StarsI enjoyed this game very much. It contains the new main "menu" system that works with all Nancy Drew games. The puzzles are fun and challeging but not impossible. I only needed the walkthrough once or twice. The story line was original. The only minor complaint is the part about having to be the cook gets old very fast!! (fortunately you only have to do this for the first part of the game)
Customer Review: Not bad at all Summary: 4 StarsI was pretty impressed with this one. It isn't my favorite, but it's one of them. It was pretty exiting, had a great storyline, senory, and the characters were pretty cool. The only thing that bugged me was all the duties that nancy had. It would have been better if she was just a normal guest instead of a worker at the lodge.
Customer Review: Nancy Drew: the white wolf of icicle creek Summary: 5 StarsThis one was the best I am hoping to see more nancy drew games soon.
Customer Review: Fun but different than the other ones Summary: 4 StarsThe format has been changed on this one so it takes a little getting used to. Not as difficult to solve as other Nancy Drews.
Customer Review: A winner! Summary: 4 StarsI am nearly 50 yrs. old and have played every ND game except for the first one (go figure). As a young girl I would spend my weekends with Nancy! I learned to LOVE to read and it all began with Nancy Drew. My very first boyfriend bought me a ND book for my birthday when I was around 13. I also had a large collection that was passed on to me. Needless to say, I am a HUGE Nancy fan. I discovered that HERinteractive was creating Nancy Drew games. What a riot! I loved every one. I play at the junior level and needed hints (I don't care for walkthru's), with some of the more difficult games. The hardest one for me was Curse of Blackmoor Manor. There is a site on the internet that just gives you hints to get you moving again. I went to this site a lot while playing Blackmoor Manor. I loved the game, it was just a tad hard for me. White Wolf was excellent.
My very favorite part was working with "Isis". I had worked for a vet for nearly 20 years (now retired). The graphics are stunning. The plot is interesting. Some of the puzzles were difficult for me, so I did need some help at the hint site. I loved the chores. In fact, I differ in opinion from most of the people who have posted here. My very favorite game is Secret of the Old Clock. I loved zippin' around running errands etc...
White Wolf did have chores and a whole lot more. A lovely fun game!
