I just received my copy of the Sims Complete Collection (7/9/2007).
Here are a few questions I had, so I hope the answers I give help you.
Q: Do I need to uninstall my previous versions of The Sims.
A: NO. If you built it and saved it in the previous game it is still there in The Sims Complete Collection.
Q: Will it work on my computer
A: If you have Windows XP and a decent computer YES. I have a 4 year old Pentium 4 with a NVIDIA Geforce3 video card and it works great, no choppy video or time delays.
Q: What do I get?
A: 4 Disc in a DVD like box. But the key code is on the back of the booklet inside.
Q: How long will it take to install?
A: 25 to 30 minutes
Q: What about new objects?
A:There are so many new objects, building items and new neighborhoods that it will take you awhile to adjust to so many choices.
Q: Did you encounter any problems?
A: Yes but only with the registering process. I have and EA account but it refused to recognize it. So I tried creating a new one. That also failed. I finely just gave up and went to the Sims Complete Collection site and added my serial number to my list, and now all is ok.
Q: Where you please with your purchase?
A: Yes. Buying it as a complete collection was a HUGE saving over buying each expansion pack. And buying it thru Amazon meant that I didn't even have to get dressed except to get it out of the mailbox

Well, I played Sims for the longest time before buying this all-in-one DVD pack. It uses every expansion pack in one, and it seems like a dream come true. But what is keeping me from playing it is how slow the people move according on how fast the day is. Loading times for certain things like switching maps are no fun, and there is just too mcuh to do. Living the life in Sims seems great, but you only have time for so much. I can't even keep up 10 friends without ignoring all the other people I made in the game, becasue there is just no time. Installing it for me took like a year too. Overall, it's still the Sims you know.Customer Review: The Best Game!!!!!!!!!!!Duh!!

From the day I downloaded my first Sims game ,I've been stuck . I love the Sims .I have it for the Nintendo SP and DS and the Sims 2 for the PC . But my heart is with this complete collection . Unlimited play and it so easy to jump right in and get going and keep it going having the complete collection. Set up is a breeze . It's not as technical as Sims 2 so it just flows very smoothly .Top of the list and all in one package takes it to the next level . This is a must have . And I'd say get get 2 ... One for you and one for your best friend ... mine is Sims-ing .Customer Review: Fantastic Game!

My son bought a copy of The Sims for me, and after seeing how great it is, I bought The Sims Complete Collection. This set has everything, and I've been enjoying it every chance I get. There are many on-line groups devoted to The Sims, and so many free downloads of objects that can be added to the game. At the price Amazon asks, I would highly recommend this product for people of all ages.
