Customer Review: Not Perfect but worth the fun

I purchased this game about 2 years ago and of course had to install it right away when i got home to try it out. Right away I found myself playing the game for hours and lost track of time. I love the way the seasons change in this game cause it can seem so realistic, especially during the summer to autumn seasons when the leaves on the trees change colors just like in reality. The winter season in the game is also beautiful with several small and even quite large snowstorms that can occur througout the season. One time when I was playing the game it was winter time and the little weather guy on the television was calling for heavy snow and sure enough it snowed hard one night and my sim kids school was cancelled the next day. The graphics and sound on this game are quite good and it was certainly worth the price I paid for the game. The only complaint I have about the game is that I feel the creators could have went a little farther with the weather features in the game such as in winter having sleet and freezing rain be a possibility and not just the snow. Overall I give this pc game 4 stars under the categories of graphics, fun, gameplay, and sound quality. I do reccomend this to most younger and even some older video gamers to play!Customer Review: The reviews have it!

Look at this game and it's ALL 4 & 5 star reviews. This is an excellent expansion!! It turns a pretty wonderful Sims 2 game into an amazingly fun, addictive Sims 2 with Seasons game!
Seasons is my favorite expansion of all time. I love the snowball fights, the snow angels, the snowmen, the weather channel, the coats, the sunburns, the extras objects that come with Summer, the Autumn leaves, the colds even, having to warm or cool yourself down, the change of scenery. This is such an amazing expansion. It is my favorite of all!
Believe the reviews, this game is awesome. :)
Just keep in mind, you need the base game "Sims 2" to play the expansion!

Now that I've played Sims 2 with seasons, I can't play it without.
I recently changed computers and had to load Sims 2 on it. I tried playing it without the expansion packs, to see if I really needed them after all, and within twenty minutes I felt like something was missing and had to add on some of them--seasons being the first.
It makes the game feel more realistic, and I love all the new clothing options that came with it.
I have purchased all of the expansion packs, but I didn't feel the need to install them all on my new computer. After playing the game with seasons, it just didn't feel right without it.
In my opinion a worthwhile buy and addition to your Sims experience.

I've been playing the sims 2 for a while now and getting the pets I was anxious to get the seaons since I've heard raving things about it from a friend of mine who too is a avid sims 2 player. Well once i got it it was great yet i started out on riverblossom hills because i believe you should start out somewhere where you ll get to know the key points in the game. So i started with a single woman in riverblossom hills then created a family of my own in pleasentville and honestly its great fun of planting and doing other things as well!! This game is a major must have for the avid sims 2 players you will love this game without a doubt ever since i got it i ve been playing it almost every day and I love it!! Plus just adding a little note: I was going to purchase this at [...] but of course they have it priced at [...] and there was no way whatsoever I was going to blow that kind of money on a game where i can get it here cheaper in which i love!!
