Customer Review: Sims2
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great upgrade from the orginal sims game, way more interactive and fun

Customer Review: contains securom, i had to reformat my pc cause of it
Summary: 1 Stars

now i loved the sims 2 on pc while it lasted which is why i rated it 4 stars for "fun", my pc meets the required specs. i played it on a modern laptop for a few months till it kept on crashing, create a family would not load, half the cheats dont work and the families i spent hours on in the neighborhood i created from scratch and named after my home town all gone. in the summer of 2008 i had to reformat cause of loss of internet, and in march of 2009 i had to reformat cause of corruption of my main local C drive. turns out it was securom, it is what developers put in a game to prevent piracy, but it does not stop piracy, sure it might prevent a few inexperienced users from uploading the game cause securom intercepts the ripping of the cd, but anyone can download and install it. i did not pirate it, i had the actual cd. i never did anything foolish and never got a critical virus (excluding securom) or anything like that. i decided to make my main C drive wiped out (there was an option to completely delete it using the recovery cd) and reinstalled my computer runs much better without the game installed.

Customer Review: Really fast delivery - great game
Summary: 5 Stars

I already had this game but accidentally gave it to my grandson so needed another copy. This one is in great shape and was delivered within a couple of days. Great game and terrific relaxation from law school studies.

Customer Review: Sims 2 Double Deluxe
Summary: 2 Stars

Firstly, I had this game for over a year before I could actually get it WORKING. My first several tries were met with a series of errors that the customer support for the game couldn't help me fix. It wasn't until a few months ago that I tried to install it again that I was actually able to get it working... How I did it I'm not sure... I was just lucky and it decided to magically install without an error I guess...
Anyway I was finally able to play it at that point... The first problem with this game is load time... If you don't have a fast computer you are going to be waiting for awhile... After that you have to figure out how to play... Out of all the Sims games I've played I've never had a harder time building a house as I did with this one... Unless you want to live without a roof you have to be very specific with your design so that "the house can support your roof"... It's easier to forget the building creation and just set up a premade house...
The biggest problem I've always had with Sims games is that it doesn't take but a week of playing to literally have done everything in the game... And that's why there are so many expansions... You get tired of one game... Go buy the next $20 copy... And each expansion offers very little to make them worth buying... The content should be downloadable, and it shouldn't cost $20...
To be honest I hate this game. It gets old really fast, and playing it for longer than a few hours burns it's image in my mind and gives me headaches. Some people jump all over Sims games as being the "greatest idea ever" but I seriously regret wasting the $40 or $50 I spent on it over a year ago. It's lame, it's boring, it's repetitive, and there are better things to waste your time and money on.

Customer Review: Just LOVE it !!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

The SIMS 2 is great, I have spent hours building house, neighborhoods and families. The detail is so much better than the original game. The graphics are GREAT!. The sims have been programmed to be more human in their actions. This game is great for anyone over 13. As there is some teenage/adult content to the game
