Video Game Reviews of The Sims 2 Deluxe (Sims 2 and Sims Nightlife Expansion)Customer Review: Waay too addicting Summary: 5 StarsI'll be honest, I've poured hours into this game. It's very easy to lose track of the time while playing it. I think it appeals most to middle/high school girls.
Customer Review: Talk About Addiction Summary: 5 StarsI have been playing this game for almost two years and I love it. I could never understand why my teens were always playing this game. I love it I have all of the games i.e. seasons, pets, open for business,etc.... Who needs fake friends when you have the sims. I love it is good for my nerves. I love it almsot as much as reading. I can't wait for the Sims 3.
Customer Review: I love the sims Summary: 5 StarsThe Sims 2 deluxe is the base game and nightlife expansion pack. I love the sims so I knew what to expect. The discs worked great and the price was great. Thanks.
Customer Review: LOVE SIMS!!! Summary: 5 StarsI've always loved playing SIMS2 and with the nightlife attached it's even more fun...I can't wait to get all the other ones!! It came brand new and not even opened so I was very very happy with it. I mean if you're going to buy something...you got to buy it new!
Customer Review: Vista users Summary: 4 StarsEnough has already been said about the Sims to fill a book. I have, however, heard from several people having trouble running the Sims. Either the game stops or the launcher shows that there are no expansions installed.
Very annoying. The fix for me was to simply right click the shortcut and select "Run as administrator". I didn't even need to run it in compatibility mode. The only issue that remains is that in building mode, whenever I place something, everything disappears, momentarily, except the terrain and the floor tiles. But I'm about 90% sure that it's a video card issue.
All in all building is a great stress reliever...
