This game when i got worked great at first when it loads its slow ,but then it gets fast.Its fun and addictive. When you get into space stage it seems like the game never ends. My kids had to have this game. They saved and pooled their money and installed it on the computer. That was great. It was working. They loved it. Spore is, after all, a fun game. However, then they downloaded the recommended patch. The game would no longer load. We spent over an hour chatting with tech support. Spore's tech support's final solution was to create a new administrative account on our PC just to play Spore on and reinstall Spore in that account and not install the patch.
If you have Vista, do not update the software.

Love it! I just love it! If you read the ratings 1 star they say bad things about it. I don't know what they're talking about! But I do kind of agree with them. They sound honest. Who cares! This is my number 1 favorite game! I don't know if its fun for you. It depends. If you like creating stuff you should buy it. My favorite stage is space. If you buy spore and get to space stage, try to go to the center of the universe. SO FUN!!! Customer Review: Spore

Ok, first i want to say that i read lots of reviews before buying this game. At some point i thought this game really was not worth my money but i decide to buy it anyway. Hopefully i did since this game is very entertaining and very fun. The only thing i really dont like at this moment is that the first phases are very short, like other reviews said the cell stage can take only about 1/2 hour to be completed and depending on what difficult you are playing and if you are social or not this can make the game longer or very difficult to pass.
The best phase and the most enjoyable at least for me is the space stage. There you can do really what you want to do, paint planets, make allies, buy other galaxies or simply destroy all other empires. I like the mission part, some are a little difficult but others are way too easy.
About glitches and bugs i really havent found much of them, the only one that i notice was on space stage that one of the turrets in my planets keeps firing but i really dont care :P.
In general this game worths your money if you like to create creatures and want to try different approaches for your creation. Also let me tell that i am 27 years old and i really like this game so i can say every member of the family can enjoy this game if they like what i describe here.
