I used to play call of duty and then I got this game and it consumed so much of my time and messed up my wrist with carpal tunnel syndrome, but how I love the game... Anyway I would play it for a couple of months then sell it when it intruded too much on my regular life, ha ha then buy it again. Customer Review: didn't work on my computer

I was sick and tired of seeing WWII shooters coming one after another mainly because the weapon selection usually sucks in this games due to the technology available at the time. I want to see M16s, M4s, M249s, P90s, F2000s, HK G36s, UMP-45s, and MP7s along with modern military vehicles and tactics. Battlefield 2 appeared to be the answer. The graphics are top-notch and fly on my P4 + Radeon X1950 GT rig. The weapon selection is amazing, and the vehicles are definitely a bonus. Call of Duty 4 is coming out and promises to be a big step up from BF2 in terms of gameplay, but BF2 pretty much pioneered the use of vehicles and allowed seamless transitions from driver to gunner to a ground pounder; a 400 page Microprose manual was not required to operate the M1 Abrams or the M998.Customer Review: Addicted to BF2

I first started playing this game in single player mode, got bored once in expert level it was no longer a challenge. When I finally had a broadband connection available (that was like maybe two years later!!!) I completely rediscovered the game! Online play is AWESOME! Im addicted to this! Yeah you will sometimes get killed by a teammate to get a tank or plane, but I dont mind (I just make sure I punish him later :)
I suppose that todays graphics cards will be able to handle this game fluently (Ive played the game on radeon x200 express IGP, radeon mobility 9700, and geforce go7400 mobility chipsets, settings on LOW). For the low price that you can have this game, I would recommend you to purchase it and give it a try!!

The online ability of this game is amazing, up to 64 people playing in one room. The game is very strategic and the graphics are very well rounded. The amount of people that still play this game is impressive. The only thing is upon purchasing the game you have to go to EAGames main website and download the "1.41v full patch" for the game because a lot of updates have been released enhancing the gaming.
