Video Game Reviews of Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern

Customer Review: Really fun game!
Summary: 4 Stars

I just finished playing this very enjoyable game. Navigation was very easy and there wasn't a lot of that tedious walking back and forth between places looking for stuff that so many games have (I think just to make the games longer). The graphics were top-notch, with a 360 degree rotation. Beautiful scenery. The music was very good. Voice acting was good. There wasn't a lot of dialogue to wade through and I liked that. I also really enjoyed the puzzles. I thought they were a bit different from many other games I've played. They were challenging but not impossible to do without a walkthrough.

My only complaint was the ending, which I thought was too abrupt. It also could have been a bit longer. I'll definitely buy the sequel if they make one. I highly recommend this game.

Customer Review: A Great Non Violent Game
Summary: 5 Stars

This was my first adventure game. I was told it's short, but that's what makes it better. Less chances of getting bored.
The story was great, and there was no trouble following it. Well worth the money, in fact I even purchased two. One for me, and the other for a friend. By the way she loves it also.

Customer Review: Boring.....
Summary: 2 Stars

This game was SO boring! The puzzles were stupid. The setting was interesting and could be a learning experience but the game itself was just SO bad and very short. Certainly not worth the money.

If you like games such as Black Mirror, Myst, Atlantis etc you will be very disappointed with this game.

Customer Review: short and easy
Summary: 3 Stars

Good game to play with kids. Some puzzles seemed to be fillers, like the stone wall to climb or the gate made of sticks. Very welcome to locate the game in the Paleolitic, but I missed more landscapes, animals and people. Would buy a second part only if longer and a little more dense.

Customer Review: ECHO -- Myst-lite in the stone age
Summary: 4 Stars

A good value for the price. This is a fairly short and not too tricky game (especially if you've been playing adventure games since Zork). It's a Myst-like game, though not nearly as challenging. However, the paleolithic setting is unique, and the educational tie-ins were very well done. I would definitely recommend this one, especially for 10-15 year olds.
