Video Game Reviews of Echo: Secrets of the Lost CavernCustomer Review: great game Summary: 5 StarsI had alot of fun playing this game. It was challenging but not too hard. Great graphics, beautiful scenery. The only thing I would change is to make it longer, I wanted to keep on playing. If anyone knows of other games like this one please let me know.
Customer Review: Very enjoyable Summary: 4 StarsI play adventure games more because I like poking around and exploring, less for puzzle solving. I really enjoyed this game. It was different from most adventure games, and I really felt immersed in the prehistoric setting. The people were rather stiff and were the only things that were poorly executed IMHO. But, that didn't really detract from the enjoyability of the game. The puzzles were logical, fun and easy enough that I didn't get frustrated. Overall, I loved this game and recommend it highly.
Customer Review: Just Another Puzzle Game Summary: 1 StarsYou enter a pitch black cave. With the aid of your atomic-level, laser-guided pixel hunter, you find (hopefully) what you need to start a fire. Then, you solve a puzzle. Then, you solve a ludicrous puzzle. Then, you leave the cave. Then, you enter a pitch black cave.... Sorry about that. I could find no way to write a review without writing a detailed walkthrough of the game.
Since there is really no plot, interesting characters or dialogue, and the graphics are only average, there is really no reason to leave the first cave. This game would make just as much sense if you stayed in the first cave and solved all the puzzles there. "Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern" is just another dumb puzzle game.
Customer Review: Echo:-( Summary: 2 Starsdoesn't exactly grab your interest plus even with the cheat I am stuck something isn't working....
Customer Review: Stuck in a cave again. Summary: 1 StarsA game that has as your first exciting task rubbing two sticks together to make fire is not even worthy of a cub-scout. I'm really getting tired with games that leave you in one spot without even the slightest hint of what you should next to move the game along. Of course one figures it out eventually, but what a waste of time!
The science and history trivia were not interesting, and not informative of the game itself.
