Video Game Reviews of Black Mirror

Customer Review: Very Good Game with Only A Few Annoyances
Summary: 4 Stars

This is one of the few adventure games that I played twice, and the second time was just as much fun as the first (although the first time I played it was a year ago).

The game is creepy and mysterious and the ending was surprising. All through the game, anyone could be a suspect so it keeps you guessing.

This is a 3rd person, point & click adventure with a few good puzzles. Black Mirror had a good balance of both, although most of the inventory puzzles had to do with finding a way to unlock doors or chests. The puzzles were challenging and fun but not extremely difficult (like Still Life).

Graphics and ambience was of good quality and the voice acting was pretty good too. The only annoyance was Samuel's (protagonist) snobby personality. I wanted to like the main character, but it was really hard to do that. Despite his prissiness, he didn't have a problem slipping a mickey on someone or swiping a few tools though.

The other minor annoyance was that Samuel could be killed in a few scenes, but man, did they have to make it so extreme? Like in one part, he got his head chopped off and in another, a spear through it.

Also, I could see no logical reason for having to right click on some things and left click on others. It made the game a little confusing at first, until I figured it out.

Other than that, I recommend it. It's better than most of the adventure games on the shelf right now so if you pick this one, you probably won't be disappointed.

Like most current adventure games, it ends a little hastily and you might not like it (what's up with all these bad endings in games anyway? i.e. Jack the Ripper, Still Life, etc.)

Customer Review: Suspenseful and Fun
Summary: 5 Stars

Very enjoyable game. So many neat places to explore. Some puzzles weren't very difficult, but there were enough challenging ones to keep it fun. The rain and thunder were so realistic! At first I didn't realize you could left and right click on objects, even in your inventory. There were no technical problems. The game ran great on XP.

Customer Review: Alright Now What?
Summary: 3 Stars

Ok,so the curse has been stopped from the Gordon Family. Samuel Kills Himself, And Everyone else. Ha Ha! And everyone left seems too old to Procreate. Especially Victoria! So What was the Point ! ?
At least Samuel would have inherited that Lovely Mansion to Ease the guilt of Killing everyone off in the family. But of course he killed his wife in the fire too. So I guess they had no children. Whats the use of having a "Family Curse", If there is no FAMILY!
It was fun till the last chapter. It would have been more interesting if there was another villian other than Samuel. And if he had come out a hero in the end. Instead of cutting off the last of the Family Line in which he was trying to Preserve.
Alright Now What? I didn't Get It! LOL

Customer Review: Sounds better then it is
Summary: 1 Stars

I started playing the game, it seemed to me like it was dragging on and I got bored, with the storyline. There was nothing to keep me interested in this game.
