I like the 3D engine that generates the realistic background effects. I am still learning how to play, yet, have to say the game is good. I look forward to other CDV games like this one. This is by far the best WWII game ever made. It is even better then Blitzkrieg 2. The realism of the units is amazing and the articifical intelligence is pretty good. There are historical scenarios which can be very challenging and then computer generated ones which are easier, but lots of fun. Only one problem with this game is that it will not work on a laptop that uses power saving technology. Basically that's all modern laptops. The game detects the computer's speed incorrectly and as a result the game is not playable. Only buy this game if you play on using a desktop or have an older non-speed step technology laptop.
