I am enjoying these games. It was a great deal to get both versions in one cd at that price. They are a little different so it is fun playing each version. Jewel Quest Solitaire, like Jewel Quest, is simply a blast! I find them not too hard, but not positively brainless either. Yes, some of the layouts are harder and don't get cleared the first time through, but I didn't find it annoying. I think they're a fun thing to do after work--a bit challenging but not excessively so. They're Match 3 games, and they're suitable for the hearing impaired.
