I love this game and it is the best computer game out right now. Amusement park junkies will love this. I learned the hard way about how roller coasters work in this game, so here is a tip: if the coaster is going more than 10 mph, then bank the turn. Doing this allows for a less extreme ride that gets more riders. Anyway, the whole thing is great. The scenarios all get more challenging as you go up, but the hardest one of them all in the original pack is Rainbow Valley, because landscaping is not allowed. The expansion packs have a lot of good stuff in them, too, but you should start working on the original game scenarios first to get the hang of the game. Once you know how to build roller coasters the right way, it is lots of fun to start experimenting with bizarre twists, like sending the track through a loop (which requires careful positioning). The game altogether (with expansions) has about 25 different kinds of coasters, some varying from a simple straight line, like the Reverse Whoa Belly Roller Coaster design to long, fast, twisted track layouts, like the Steel Twister Roller Coaster. The gentle rides and thrill rides also rake in profits. Overall, this is a great game, recommended to gamers of all ages.Customer Review: i love rct, but 1 prob with this

I first got into the RTC craze when I saw a student in my school back in May of 2001 playing RTC, I got onto the computer and played it, I was instantly hooked! I knew two expansion packs were available at the time but I was waiting for a release like this one that has RTC and the two expansion packs. I brought RTC Gold Edition recently and I've been playing it nonstop, I am totally hooked on RTC and I can't wait until RTC 2 is released. It'll be awesome running a Six Flags theme park and placing Six Flags roller coasters into existing parks made in RTC 2, I'm hoping that Maryland's [the state I live in] Six Flags theme park, Six Flags America, will be included with RTC 2. I'm going to preorder RTC 2 very soon.Customer Review: Got them all, if you don't get this one!!

I love this game. Have bought other simulation games, roller coasters, theme parks, but this is by far the best of all of them. I can't wait unitl the new RCT 2 comes out in October. I may be over 40, but this is almost as much fun as being at a park (without getting sick on the rides), and I feel like a kid again.Customer Review: A Great Game!

I bought all of the versions for this game separately, over the years I lost them, so I got this coming in the mail. GET THIS GAME!!! You'll love it! It has excellent graphics and awesome music. The simulation level is even more realistic! The scenarios are nice and challenging, yet fun and entertaining! This game kept me busy for a few good years now. It will do you the same good! Buy this game. Treat yourself some fun!
