This game was extremly disaponting. I am a hard core baulder's gate and icewind dale fan. I was looking forward to neverwinter nights as the next leval of play. It is the most thorough game yet with more spelles and classes than ever before it is lacking somthing however. It feels like an action game. The plot is boring and uncomplex, it failed to hold me for even an hour compared to icewind dale witch I was able to play all day. Also the way it is set up, it just does not feel like an RPG it feels like a shooter. All the plot points involve killing somthing. All in all this was a disapointing game for a hard core RPG fan.Customer Review: Great game

Neverwinter nights is a great game. the single player is a bit bland, but where the fun factor kicks in is in multiplayer. If you like playing games like Everquest, Asherons Call, Ultima Online, then this game is the game for you. It beats those others hands down, and you can always create you're own fantasy world with the powerfull toolset. Jump online into the many player servers and enjoy a great rpg experiance with as much 2-60 players or more! Save yourself the money you're throwing away to the online MMORPGs out there and have fun with this. You need all the expansions to maximise you're playing experiance, so get HOTU and SOU, or buy the gold edition and Hordes of the Underdark (Hotu). I've been playing this game online solid for about a year and a half now, and it is still a great game for RPGers.Customer Review: This is is Neverwinter with the Battle on.....

I Saw this game on gamespot and got a rating od 9.2 awesome!!!! When i play the game it Sucks!!! First of all my computer is verry fast and takes about 5 minutes to kill one person U die in 2 or 3 hits and is very Frusrating The town guards in the game are useless!!! I get chased by zombies,Goblins and Crazy psychos and they dont help me at all!!! This game is verry long and boring If you want a game like this get Diablo and Diongeon Siege.Customer Review: Great single player game

I recently purchased nwn and the 2 expansions. The game has a great storyline. The gameplay is a little slow especially when your first starting out. The graphics are good and I like the freedom you get with the camera. I also really like how many different ways you can spec or combine classes. On the minus side I felt the items in the game were quite limited. I went through the entire game and must have popped over 2000 chests, and the items I could purchase from the merchants were better then what I found. Now here is my main complaint, aside from the game being so easily altered with hacks and cheats the multiplayer really took the fun out of this game. You just simply export your char give a whole buncha stuff and he can run through the game one hitting everything. I could join other peoples server but tried to set up a LAN game and it wouldn't work for the life of me. Read lots of forums and articles on ports and how to fix this issue but to this day I am still unable to set up a LAN game. The Atari tech support is less then willing to help me with this issue which I think is a shame. In order to play multiplayer games you have to lower the security on your computer by disabling firewalls and other things. In summary buy this game for single player use cause the multiplayer is a pain. I will prolly not buy another game from atari/bioware because of the poor tech support I was given when an issue arose. They only want your money and could careless if the game works for you or not.Customer Review: Sincerely the BEST GAME EVER

Neverwinter Nights is one of the greatest RPG's (role-playing games) of all times, and I have played a lot of PC game through out my life. It has great graphics and an exciting plot. Also, it has a great attack system. The only cons I can think of are the loading screens, but they are pretty quick. This game is based on the D&D 3.0 rules, but even if you've never played D&D, like me, the game is still easy and fun to play. This game also has great sounds (including voices and battle sounds) and is "addicting". It will take you weeks or months to finish this game and even longer if you do all of the side quests. With the great toolset that comes with it, you can easily make your own adventures and quests. Lastly, it features a free online multiplayer option that works very well. This is a "must buy" for any one who enjoys PC games.
