Video Game Reviews of Barbie Diaries: High School Mystery

Customer Review: High School fun
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a good game for young teens that are starting high school. It would be fun to play with an updated version with today's graphics!

Customer Review: Too Short
Summary: 3 Stars

Overall I thought this game was done well. You as Barbie have to find out who is trying to stop all the band members from being able to compete. You get to put something new on Barbie everyday and you have a lot of suspects. Just as this game was starting to get interesting it ended which kind of made me unhappy considering how much it cost. The other thing that bugged me though it is a really dumb thing was Barbie's swagger in her jeans, it's really destracting. It was better than I was expecting and I have been getting a lot of other barbie games trying to find one similer.

Customer Review: not worth the money
Summary: 2 Stars

First, remove the word "mystery" from the title. I played this with my [...] daughter and we completed the entire game in 90 minutes. The clues are more like facts that Barbie shares rather than things the player finds. There is little reasoning or thought required by the player, and there is no way to deduce the culprit without hearing the culprit's backstory at the end of the game. Maybe suitable for 6 - 8 year old.

Customer Review: My Daughter loves this game!
Summary: 5 Stars

My daughter just turned 8 and loves this game. In fact, I caught her sneaking on the computer after her bedtime to play it.

Customer Review: Might be nice-if it actually worked
Summary: 1 Stars

Despite meticulously loading the game we had error messages from the beginning followed by erratic play.

Tried to contact Activision customer support and got-----nowhere. They have no phone contact, just a slow and plodding email system that blames everything but the game.

Save your aggravation and get something else. Better yet, get a Mac next time as I intend to do and avoid Windows nonsense all together.
